Update: February 2025, prices have gone up ~10% as of Feb 8, 2025.

I also think management/ownership should consider hiring another waiter/tress. On a Saturday night the place was full and looks like only one person was waiting tables.

Update: 2025 #21 (CDMX #21; Tacos #3, "Fusion" #2): came here with friends after enduring Cariñito.

If you order one thing: kalbi asada (or the aguacate tatemada); also, make sure to save room for dessert!!

I love the variety here. They have so many options and basically everything was good. The desserts/postre were surprisingly delicious. Definitely recommend saving room for dessert.

I highly recommend Tizne over Cariñito. The food, variety, vibe, service and comfort are all much better IMO.

CDMX Eats 2024 #72, Taco #30: we had Tizne Tacomotora via the NAMI sake event at LagoAlgo.

At the event they offered the following: kalbi asada, pork belly & aguacate tatemado.

I started with an order of all three. My pork belly was a little over, but the kalbi asada was pretty tasty/spot-on. It tasted like a good taco vs embodying (m)any Korean flavors (not necessarily a bad thing). The aguacate tatemado was quite fresh/refreshing especially compared to all the other meat.

I ended up getting another two kalbi asada and one more aguacate tatemado tacos. My partners' favorite tacos of the event were Tizne's kalbi asada and pork belly (there were seven other tacos available from two other vendors: Cariñito & LagoAlgo).

I would definitely come here to try the other tacos they have (and try their food...

Very slow service (attended at 330pm, not a busy crowd); took almost 10 minutes to take my order. There were 3 other tables of guests, so it doesn't take 10 min to take someone's order. Flavors are good; chicken taco is dry and over salted. They refuse to allow guests (at least queer ppl) to order a 2nd Cerveza with their meal! A server outright told me I cannot order a 2nd beer after I ate my four tacos. Very odd rule, if guests are paying customers and only had 1 beer. Their arroz con Leche is extremely small and overly sweet, not a filled, small container and not a real serving (more for a child serving); 50 pesos for a tiny portion. Less than professional, friendly service. The other server with purple hair was upset because I gave a 10% tip; slow service and not friendly to solo and queer guests. Management doesn't care to address issues; allowing staff to be rude when guests are paying the bill. They also refuse to give a copy of the bill... double check your bank account to make sure they don't add a larger tip. Avoid this place if you're a solo and/or queer patron. They're...

This place absolutely rocks!! The best tacos we had during our stay in CDMX. We came here on the first stop in our taco + mezcal tour, and everything afterwards was an afterthought.

We ate three tacos - pork belly, suadero, and barbacoa. All were excellent. The barbacoa was my favorite - incredible tender meat and paired beautifully with their mezcal and roasted habanero salsa. They also served an excellent horchata that helped soothe your mouth from the spice of their salsas. I would put Tizne at the top...
