Highly recommend!!! Came here based on reviews and walking distance to my accommodations. Incredible. Like others have mentioned, it's along a sidewalk with a few other stands. They're on the end with a sign, and the sign is visible from the sidewalk side. I tried the birria taco, arrachera taco, quesabirria, consomme, and a coca cola. Quesabirria was so good I ordered a second one. Honestly I wish I had just ordered 4 quesabirria because they were so tasty! Total 145 pesos. People in my group ate at a restaurant on the main touristy strip along 5th street and paid quadruple for dinner compared to what I paid here. I paid in pesos, not sure about other forms of payment accepted. don't think they charged for the consomme either but ordering this is a must. I did my best to order en espanol, I think the cashier spoke English but Espanol is always appreciated. Service was kind and quick, and I plan to visit at least once more during my time in PDC. I was able to find a table but be prepared to stand if needed - seating is informal. Not sure what the parking situation is but I'd recommend walking if you can.

We come here every trip to the Riviera Maya, we make the drive from Tulum because the tacos birria are completely delicious and addictive. We come here to and from the Cancun airport. I would consider moving to Playa just for these tacos! This is food worth traveling for! Absolutely the best, and the street food prices mean that you can eat til you hurt. Be aware this is a food stand, they do have chairs, but you will be eating on the sidewalk or in the parking lot. Although they have napkins, we prefer to bring a roll of paper towels so we can clean up easily after all dripping juicy taco goodness!

The best birria tacos in playa del carmen - and the price is hard to beat. This is what I expected from a street vendor taco stand serving food for everyone. I can just repeat what everybody else is saying here. After trying these the first time, I had to make sure to come every second day of my trip. Phenomenal taste and good selection of toppings and salsas! The local guys do a fantastic job while assisting with orders - even with language barriers. We kept drinking the consomé like water! A definite recommendation for a stay in Playa del Carmen!

I've been planning our first-time family visit to Playa Del Carmen and wanted to get immersed in the local culinary cuisines of the area and was fortunate to find this little hidden gem through some of my YouTube research----it was truly worth it. This cart serves a simple but tasty menu of birria.....tacos, tortas, and quesadillas served with traditional sides to add your own flavors......local salsas, nopales (cactus), blends of onions & cilantro & tomatoes so you can enjoy it your own way. Don't forget to ask for the flavorful consume that the locals use to dip or pour over the items....que rico & delicioso! It's a street cart, yes, that serves up some...
