Quinta de Piedra — Restaurant in Playa del Carmen

We went there with my friend for dinner because of all of very good reviews. Well, beautiful garden with the tables, not loud music, nice light attracracted us as well. We ordered naranjada, and it was really good. The waiter says it's from fresh orange juice... so, good things are finished. We took Picanha steak for share, salad for share, and two side dishes... I told that for the girl in Spanish, steak is for share, but she served steak in one plate with a side dish. That's not amazing from them, but ok. Tlo Salad... was so asid, literally uneatable, my friend tried to eat it with bread, but I asked to change, it was soooooo bad, they add a lot of lemon juice and salt. They brought the salad out, and my friend's plate with that salad, too, and we waited for a change of about 10 minutes, then the waiter forgot to give a new plate for my friend... Finally, we ate cold steak and cold potato. Steak was not that good too, not sure, probably just bad quality of meat, or cold, or just unsolted or all together. As a cherry on the cake in the middle of our dinner, the cleaning lady just decided to clean up the floor, not all the floor, just partly... Couldn't recommend it...

We absolutely loved this place — we came here twice during our 4-day stay in Playa del Carmen! The cocktails are over the top — beautifully presented and incredibly delicious. The food was full of flavor; they even prepare the guacamole right at your table, and it was amazing.

Our waiter, Galindo, was such a kind and attentive host. There were quite a few mosquitos, but he immediately offered us mosquito repellent — such thoughtful service! Honestly, the food was so good we didn’t even mind the mosquitos after that.

I highly recommend the pasta Alfredo with shrimp — creamy, rich, and perfectly cooked. One of my friends had the pollo con mole, and you can really taste the hint of coconut flavor, which made it extra special.

The restaurant is pet-friendly, the music is great, and the overall atmosphere is calm and relaxing. Truly an over-the-top culinary experience. I can’t wait to come back on my...

I came here for breakfast right when they opened and they served me something completely different than what I ordered. The waiter apologized and gave me what I ordered but I had to wait another 15 minutes. Another problem was I ordered a coffee and the waiter asked me if I wanted milk with it. I said yes. He brings me a latte. When he gave me my bill, the latte was an additional charge when the meal I ordered included coffee for free. The waiter said the the meals free coffee only applies if it's Americano, not a latte. It sure would have been nice if the waiter would've told me that from the beginning that I can't have a regular coffee with milk and that it would be a latte which will be charged extra.
