Loved the music and the vibe of this restaurant!! Amazing ambiance! The candle lights at each dinner table really set the tone for an elegant and sophisticated dinner experience. They even had candles in the bathroom with scent diffusers. The waiter was top notch! I’ve been in Mexico for 3 weeks and he was the best waiter I have experienced. Customer service, etiquette, manners, communication, and attentiveness was unmatched! The cocktails, wow! They have the best drinks I’ve experienced in town. They are complex, full of character and yet blended so well. I tried the two tequila based cocktails listed on the menu and they were both amazing. Food however was an issue for me. Perhaps, it was because I ordered a burger and the restaurant is more elevated. My burger was undercooked and as a result, the juices soaked the buns causing it to be soggy. The waiter profusely apologized and sent it back. When it came back, it was so dry! It was over cooked. I didn’t complain; I ate it because I didn’t want to create another issue. Overall, great place! I recommend stopping by for a cute dinner date! Or as a treat to yourself. But maybe don’t get the burger. Dinner for me alone was 800 pesos (or $65 Canadian dollars). They accepted visa.

**Title: Unforgettable Dining at LA Brasa, Tulum** LA Brasa in Tulum is a culinary delight that blends vibrant flavors, a stunning ambiance, and impeccable service. The rustic decor, lush greenery, and soft lighting create a cozy, romantic setting, whether indoors or on the charming patio. A special shoutout to our dedicated waiter, Rapha, whose attentiveness and passion for food made our evening truly exceptional. From insightful recommendations to ensuring our glasses were never empty, Rapha's service was flawless and greatly enhanced our dining experience. Each dish, from the tender grilled octopus to the perfectly cooked ribeye steak, showcases the best of Mexican cuisine with a modern twist. Vegetarians will also be pleased with the vibrant roasted vegetable platter. The cocktail menu is innovative, with highlights like the smoky mezcal margarita, and the extensive wine list offers excellent pairings. Desserts, especially the churros with chocolate sauce, provide a perfect sweet ending. Overall, LA Brasa is a gem in Tulum's dining scene, delivering outstanding food, exceptional service, and an enchanting atmosphere. It’s a must-visit for anyone in Tulum. **Rating: 5/5**

A “must try” in Tulum. Arrived at opening (5pm) and was greeted & seated promptly upon their opening. Atmosphere is typical of Tulum’s youthful vibe. Music & decor are on point. Service was very attentive and rapid. Great selection of spirits & cocktails. Minimal selection of Tulum’s local beer (they offer 2 and 1 was out of stock). The empeñadas were perfectly prepared. Everyone raves about the ribeye, and I can now see why. Perfectly grilled medium rare, smothered in butter & garlic. Paired perfectly with creamed sweet potato. Perfection. Roasted yucca was underwhelming- even for yucca. Added salt & habanero salsa but still lacked expression. Originally it’s paired with an avocado salsa side, but as I’m allergic to avocado I had to make do. *I was presented the avocado salsa even though I declared the allergy (in Spanish). If you have allergies, be sure to ask ingredient questions out of an abundance of caution. Crème brûlée was a great close to this experience, though the custard wasn’t fully set. Fresh fruit garnish was a great accompaniment.

Amazing Dining Experience at La Brasa in Tulum

If you're in Tulum and searching for a standout dining experience, look no further than La Brasa. This gem offers a perfect blend of exquisite flavors, warm ambiance, and top-notch service.

From the moment we walked in, we were captivated by the cozy yet stylish decor, which reflects the relaxed yet vibrant spirit of Tulum. The atmosphere was inviting, with soft lighting and live music that added a magical touch to the evening.

The menu is a culinary delight, offering a variety of expertly prepared dishes. We started with the fresh ceviche, which was a perfect balance of tangy and savory flavors. For the main course, the grilled octopus was tender and bursting with smoky, charred goodness, while the steak was cooked to perfection, melting in our mouths with every bite. The accompanying sides were equally impressive, showcasing the chef's attention to detail and love for fresh, high-quality ingredients.

The service was exceptional—attentive without being intrusive. Our server was knowledgeable and offered excellent recommendations, ensuring we made the most of our meal.

To top it all off, the cocktails were phenomenal. The mezcal margarita was a refreshing highlight, perfectly complementing the bold flavors of the dishes.

La Brasa is more than just a meal; it's an experience. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply enjoying a night out, this restaurant is a must-visit in Tulum. We left with full bellies and happy hearts, already planning our next visit....

I went for the 1st time one month ago, it was not a good experience at all. I took the rice with shrimp and squid ink. This dish as nothing special, no much flavor. But the portion is good for one person, but they tried to up sell a starter so they made me think that was a small portion. The portion is plenty enough for a man of 28 years old that needs to eat good portion. When they charge you, you ask for 15% for the tips, the blond lady smile , and charge you 20% ! (More the % they add because you pay in credit card). I live in Mexico for a year, I understand Tulum is a expensive city to live, but the price match also the life style, so I believe a 15% tips was more than enough for the circumstances of the place and quality of service. After a month , I decided to give them a second chance , because I work in the industry, and order one of they “specialty”. I order the rib eye “a la brasa”. The meat is good, the seasoning not a my taste but cannot say it s bad. Bad point : how cannot you have a decent red wine by the glass when you specialize in good meat. Even the server admit that the red wines by the glass are “whatever”, and offers you to buy a bottle = I was alone. Here again, I understand the up-sell, the server was not bad, but they should have another kind of...
