Umi Sushi Mix — Restaurant in Quintana Roo

We happened upon this lovely place when we were looking for a place to hang, wait for a bus.

We were instantly greeted by beautiful people, who invited us to the beer garden. What a beautiful place. We had some beers, served to us by Paco, the warm soul who instantly made us feel so welcome and at home. We didn’t intend to but we ended up eating from their delicious menu because our neighboring guests had ordered and the smells were enticing to join!

This restaurant is delicious ... we ate here our first night in Tulum, and came back for our last dinner, too. It was the only place we ate twice during our week-long vacation. The sushi is as good as or better than a lot sushi I've had in California. The staff are super friendly. And the garden in back with the pond is so fun! Our nearly-three-year-old son loved feeding the fish and turtles. Oh, and he loved the sushi, too!!! We'll definitely eat here again next time we...

It’s Asian inspired food. My girlfriend who is a sushi guru who come from Korea and have traveled to Japan several times wasn’t impressed but since we were craving “Asian” food last couple days we were satisfied. The Pad Thai is not really pad Thai. Delicious food but the noodle was completely wrong type and didn’t even have eggs inside and was very saucy. The food is delicious but shouldn’t expect excellent Japanese food. Eat Mexican food...
