IF I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD!! It's the worst service I've ever received in any restaurant in the past 10 years of my life. AVOID THIS PLACE. DON'T RISK YOUR SANITY. The servers do not care about you.
We sat down and we were ignored for the first 15 minutes. We had to get up and get the menus ourselves. The waiters passed by us numerous times and just never acknowledged we were there. I ordered Chicken curry and received the wrong dish. I told one server and he said he'd let the other know. I sat for over 15 minutes waiting. I finally had to pick up my dish and walk it to the back. Horrendous. Then they tried to not show me the receipt, grab my credit card, and charge me for both dishes, the wrong one and the new one. I noticed and immediately asked for the receipt to review. Then when they took off the dish of the receipt, they forced me to pay taxes and tip on the wrong ordered dish 🤬 . 20% Gratuity was forcibly included so they don't have any obligation to treat you well, they get their money either way. I asked for a to-go box for my quesadillas and my curry. He brought one super small one NOT big enough for 2 dishes I pointed out. I asked for another and he rolled his eyes at me and gave me MORE more attitude.
CONCLUSION: FORCING A TIP WARRANTS BAD SERVICE, cuz it really doesn't matter to them.... you want waiters that woke up on the wrong side of the bed and ARE RUDE, this is the place!!. They are not nice and they don't care about you. They only work here to make money and their customer service is...
Read morePalo Santo … it would be difficult to list all the ways this confusingly awful establishment has disappointed. My dining partner and I left rattled and unsettled from this roadside restaurant. If one is at risk of experiencing food and service this awful, I’d say it’s fair to live in fear of going out to eat at all. It took 30 minutes to get the iced latte I asked for as well as a sickly sweet whipped beverage I most certainly did not ask for. My politely sending it back didn’t stop them from trying to sneak it on to the bill at the end though. Not to worry, it didn’t go to waste. We noticed the Barista sipping it as we left. We ordered chilaquiles and shakshuka. The chilaquiles were plated atop a cloudy, grey, watery liquid that slid around as I tried to pick the least offensively flavored chips and chicken that hadn’t yet turned into mush. I’m not too proud to admit I was the one who naively ordered the shakshuka, a simple Mediterranean dish I regularly cook at home. However what came to my table wasn’t shakshuka at all — but a red Thai curry in which two slimy, overcooked globs of poached egg floated, peppered with raw cherry tomatoes, sesame seeds(?), and two sad little pieces of untoasted bread. We left hungry, nauseous, and even more tired than we arrived. Don’t be fooled by the pretty decor, don’t waste...
Read moreWe were walking by this restaurant and interacted with the owner/manager who was super friendly when we walked by the restaurant. She recommended that we try the Pad Thai because it was amazing. She told us that they were brand new and were excited about the restaurant opening. We were sold and decided to dine at PaloSanto. My husband and I were both in a curry mood and so we both ordered the chicken curry dish. The other couple that we were with both ordered the Thai chicken. The manager walked by and told us that we should have ordered the pad Thai because it was amazing. Since we didn’t order it, she sent us over a small serving to try. To be honest, it was one or the best I’ve had. It wasn’t overly sweet and tasted phenomenal. The curry was very good as well. It was on the mild side. The vegetables and chicken were fresh and tasty.
In addition to the entrees, the restaurant had a great menu of fresh juices and coffee. I loved the naranjada drink and my husband was really happy with his pineapple juice. Both were very fresh.
Overall, we had a fantastic time at this restaurant and would go back in a heartbeat. The food was excellent and the...
