This is in TukTulum. We stayed in this community for a week and honestly did not notice it until too a few days in. We decided to try it on our last night just for ease since we were leaving for home the next morning very early. We thought,”ph whatever it’s downstairs and easy”, WOW WE WERE SHOCKED. I have travelled through Europe and have love Mexican cuisine. This was THE perfect combination. The octopus carpaccio was by far the best meal I have eaten. The manager is PHENOMENAL. It’s a gorgeous place and food… I haven’t eaten better here, honestly that carpaccio would make Italians shake their head on wonder . So fresh and amazing service. They have such a popular location in Playa del Carmen, when speaking to the manager, he tells me they just opened 20 days ago. This WILL be the busy spot. THE most amazing food. Enjoy the ambiance, the service and most importantly the food! Loved or and will be back...
Read morePiaggia is a restaurant located in the Tuk Tulum real estate development, right next to Chedraui supermarket.
The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and/or dinner in a modern design with both outside and inside dining area.
The restaurant staff is friendly and easygoing, very nice people. Their breakfast chef is young and super talented.
For this review, we tried their breakfast and everything we ordered was tasteful and fresh to order. The açai bowl was delicious and the garnishes elevated the dish to the next level. First time trying eggs Motuleños and all futur orders will be compared to this one. It is a very original dish that should be tried, beautiful flavours for breakfast.
Overall, a very pleasant experience dining outside, we will be back to explore at lunch and dinner.
Recommended.

Read moreI LOVE this restaurant! I went for a late lunch because it's close to my home, and I was amazed by the food and service 💖 I was greeted and served by Tobias, who was super friendly, helpful, and attentive. I ordered Queso Brie, which was wood-fired and served with a delicious fig and grape compote. But first, Tobias brought me warm pita bread with a tasty habañero dip and macha salsa...incredible! The Queso Brie was creamy and perfectly matched with the compote. They also have a 2 x 1 Happy Hour, which makes for great value. Tobias then brought me a small ice cream cone filled with a delectable strawberry ice cream, which I truly appreciated on a hot Tulum day! All in all, this was a fantastic experience and one that I'll definitely be repeating, probably every week! I highly recommend Piaggia Tulum for its impressive food, welcoming staff, and tremendous...
