We visited the Birria restaurant in Tulum as a couple and had a fantastic experience. The service was warm and attentive from the moment we arrived. The staff made us feel welcome and were happy to explain the menu, which can be a bit confusing at first.
If it’s your first time visiting, we highly recommend going for the quesabirria – they were absolutely massive and incredibly tasty. Each serving comes with a rich, flavourful bowl of birria broth, perfect for dipping or sipping on the side.
The food quality exceeded our expectations – tender meat, perfectly melted cheese, and a satisfying crunch on the tortillas. Portion sizes were generous and great value for money considering the flavour and presentation. There’s also a solid selection of beers and non-alcoholic drinks, which makes it easy to pair your food with something refreshing.
One of the things we loved most was the atmosphere. The restaurant has a rustic charm, blending seamlessly with the natural surroundings. It’s a lovely place to sit back, relax, and enjoy good food in a laid-back jungle-like setting.

Read moreThis is the type of birria that is just the meat style; there is consomme but the tortillas are not dipped/cooked in it, and there is no cheese in the tacos. Prices were decent, service was abysmal. We ordered pico, 3 birria tacos, 4 steak tacos, a Coke, and a tamarind water. Place was not busy when we arrived at 2PM on a Sunday. We had to ask repeatedly for everything except the tacos. Pico came 10 minutes after the tacos; drinks came 80% of the way through the meal after we asked three times. Napkins never came after asking 5 times; when I got up myself to grab them from the bar the other member on staff finally put some on the table. Asking for the check took three times.
Food was good, although as I stated not the type of birria I was hoping for, but that's not their fault. Consomme was free with any order. Service, however, was the worst we've had in Tulum and I would avoid this place...
Read moreThis place has decent tacos and I’ve been here multiple times but today I went and order some food and the girl there ran my card and said it didn’t work then ran it again. I guess maybe she just wanted an extra tip, but I didn’t realize they charged me twice until I got home I went back 25 minutes later and the manager tried to play dumb and say they didn’t well I was showing him the duplicate charges on the card with there restaurant name he insisted that it wasn’t there restaurant and that I must have gotten the food from somewhere else where they charged me double . As the girl that actually ran my card came out I pointed her out and she ran to hide in the back and the manager just keep saying no no it’s not it’s not . Not sure what that means but definitely won’t be...
