The actual meat in the smash burgers was good, and not ground too finely, so nice to have a little texture; whilst the bacon addition was probably some of the better bacon I had in the country. They lose a star for only having brioche buns - a terrible burger trend - and then having the smallest beer range of any of our resturant experiences in Mexico (just two amber beers). However good the patty was, however, the burgers were ruined by being filled with far too much slop (mayonnaise and whatever they called their house sauce), resulting in a sickly sweet, vinegary and slimy burger. We found a place after 1 week spent on Tulum. We were searching for the best place for the whole week, but found it on a last day of our vacation. And it was this place! Amazing authentic cuisine, good portions with extra spices, need also to mention that every drink comes with an extra complimentary snack (as a snack bar!), and it is the only place which offers 1L beer on La Veleta area! We spent the great night, had great conversations with Bianca and Mauro, — thank you, guys, for everything! You were very helpful with general information and helping us with food choices! The best smash burger I’ve had in a reallllly long time! We had the Cheeseburger, BBQ Bacon Burger, Fried Chicken Fries, a smoothie, and two espressos. Everything was delicious and they source all their ingredients locally.

The atmosphere is also lovely (see pics) and they have great taste in house music playing over the speakers.

The service was excellent. Everyone speaks English and Spanish and they’re super friendly! We had a nice chat with the owner/manger while there :)

Don’t expect to get your food quickly anywhere in Tulum. They value quality over speed around here and you’ll be happy you waited!
