An Amazing Experience at Ukami in La Veleta

We had a family gathering of 15 people at Ukami, and it was absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere was perfect for a group celebration, and the owner, Spencer, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. His hospitality was unmatched—he even treated us to complimentary mezcal, which added a special touch to the evening.

The food was incredible, with every dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. It’s clear that Ukami puts a lot of care and attention into every detail, from the menu to the service.

I'm visiting Tulum and had a really great time here! I really enjoyed the unique fusion of cuisine. I tried the taco de cangrejo (fried crab in a crispy taco shell) and the rib eye fusion roll. Everything was delicious and a nice changeup from the typical offerings in the area. I sat at the bar with Rosas and he provided very attentive service, great recommendations, and friendly conversation. Some of the best margaritas I've had and all made with real fruit! I'd highly recommend the maracuya margarita with chile de arbol 🌶️

Came across this place while staying nearby and the food was really unique and great how they fuse Mayan with Japanese rather than just doing Japanese. We had gyozas and yakitori, veg noodles and the ukami bowl, flavours were great and the staff were very friendly and smiley, was nice to have something a little different having been in Mexico a week or so, and being from australia we eat a lot of Asian cuisine, so this place was just what we felt like.
