TOURISTS WARNING!!!
I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Old Town Little Bay in Kotor. From the start, the service was a disaster. We were shocked to see a service fee of almost 9 euros on our bill, which was never mentioned by the staff nor was it stated anywhere visible. This hidden charge was just the beginning of our bad experience.
The beer prices on the bill didn’t match what was listed on the menu. They use pre-tax prices on the menu and then charge you more on the bill, which feels like a sneaky way to overcharge customers. The food itself was awful—I ordered the seafood pasta, and it was nothing more than noodles swimming in a watery sauce with absolutely no fresh ingredients.
When I tried to address these issues with the owner, instead of an apology, I was met with a confrontational attitude. He argued with me rather than acknowledging my concerns, which only made the situation worse. His behavior was so unacceptable that I had to put him in his place.
I’ve read other reviews, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he tries to claim that this review is about a different restaurant. But to be clear, we ate at his restaurant, Old Town Little Bay. It’s obvious that he’s trying to scam both locals and tourists with inflated prices and subpar food.
Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. There are plenty of better options in Old Town Kotor. Hopefully, this business won’t last much longer—he’s a scammer, and this restaurant...
Read moreWe have spent a month in Kotor and sadly never went to this restaurant because it was always empty early when we like to eat. This was a mistake as when we finally gave them a chance we were blown away by the outstanding quality of the food!! Everything tasted fresh, well balanced and exploding with flavour! My elderly parents had just flown over from the UK and the exhaustion from the long journey combined with the heat caused my mother to begin to pass out at the table. The owner and the waitress quickly saw what was happening and rushed to help. When ice and a fan failed to help the owner helped me carry her upstairs to a room that they rent out so she could lie down. The waitress stayed with us and helped in any way she could plus the owner even offered the room for a night for free. (The room here are very nice by the way!) Thankfully she recovered quickly due to the quick care and attention she received! I will be forever grateful to the staff and the owner as the situation could have been much worse!! If you are in Kotor please do not overlook this brilliant restaurant. You will not be...
Read moreATTENTION! You pay a 21% service fee and can’t do anything about it, that’s way to high, especially when you have a look at the service. We ordered a Montenegro Steak, what we got was cordonbleu. After telling the waiter about it he argued he told us that the „steak“ would be stuffed with ham and cheese. Moreover it was very dry, because there was no sauce. The salat my friend ordered was basically just tomato with 2 onion rings. Besides all that it was pretty expensive for what we got. The toilet looks like a waterbaloon splashed in there. I added some pictures for you to have a look at it, but I would definitely not recommend to eat here.
Edit to your comment: I agree I ate most of it but not all. But what other choice do I have. I paid for it so I ate it, just because I ate most of it it doesn’t mean I like it and it does not change the fact that you lied in my face, when you argued you told us that you would serve us a pork cordonbleu. That’s...
