Venturing into Andalous, I anticipated a journey of Moroccan flavors and culinary delights, yet alas, the experience left much to be desired. Opting for the tajine featuring a medley of sausage, beef, and chicken, I found the sausages to be the lone saviors in a sea of disappointment. Juicy and bursting with flavor, they stood out amidst the dry and tasteless beef and chicken.
Unfortunately, the vegetables shared a similar fate, lacking in both flavor and texture due to overcooking, leaving little chewing resistance. While the prices were average, the lackluster culinary experience failed to justify the expense.
On a more positive note, the rooftop setting provided a pleasant ambiance for dining, offering respite from the hustle and bustle below. However, even the scenic views couldn't salvage the lackluster offerings.
Beginning the meal with a Moroccan soup for starters, I had hoped for a burst of flavor to awaken the palate, yet it too fell short, adding to the overall disappointment.
Despite the shortcomings in the culinary department, I must commend the service, which remained attentive and courteous...

The venue is clean and well appointed, we sat on the balcony floor overlooking the Medina for a 360 degree view of the old city.. our server was prompt, and kind - letting us “foreigners” know where to go and what we should see while we’re here, then the food came - and talk about a stunning lunch spread!
We got the Chicken & Lemon Tajine, Chicken Couscous, and Marrakech Beef Tajine (on the recommendation of our server) to share between 3. The flavours were rich and blended so well together, we couldn’t have taken more than 10 minutes to clear out all the food - it was THAT good.
You won’t be unsatisfied with the price either, the whole meal - plus 3 drinks, bread and olives came up to 414.00 MAD - which was incredibly fair. If you want a delicious bite to eat with a great atmosphere and wonderful customer service then Andalous is a...

The vegetable tagine was boiled veg piled into a tagine dish with a bit of saltwater at the bottom as garnish for 95 MAD and a small unflavoured couscous at a side for an additional 20 MAD and they weren’t even ashamed to ask how we liked it. The mixed grill had some flavour from the coal but was totally dry. It was so bad we laughed a lot that night. Neighbouring table had an equally bad experience. We ate the food because we were tired and hungry and because it didn’t look like it would make you bad, but it was the worst food we had in 6 days in Marrakesh. Clearly not a professional chef. Any positive reviews are either fake or they...
