Stadtmitte Cafe — Restaurant in Erongo Region

We waited for 90min for our food. 2 groups of 10 came in after our table of 6, but both got served before us. No one came to give us any updates or offered refills while we waited. When we complained with the waiter about the long wait, the chef/owner (??) came to our table to argue with us and spoke in an unapologetically and unapproachable manner to us. The encounter left us feeling very disgruntled and was handled unprofessionally by him. The staff then seemed the bear the brunt of his emotions when he went back into the open view kitchen. Not a pleasant experience at all... Just one question - what is the purpose of the front of house lady standing at the display counter? She did not do any waiting, but also didn't seem to be doing anything else. Was she suppose to be the friendly face of...

Whatever you do dont order like I did.i ordered a Brotchen.not knowing they sell such on the menu.i said.one brother,cheese,salami and tomato oh and girken. So the bill came.cheese N$39,SalamiN$39 or so then tomato N$30 bred N$10 so I pointed out to the waiter hey that brotchen is N$56 on the menu .so he said well its the system.see its how you ordered.i asked to speak to the manager who took one look smiled and re done the bill all awhile the waiter still insists he were right.by the way I did NOT get my gerkin. Coffee were really great.and the manager were great.like a John Cleese sketch of faulty towers...

Sorely dissapointing. The waiter is confused about what's on the menu, doesn't know tea options and can't and answer any of my questions. Portion size of the burger in relation to pricing is ridiculous, I mean it looks like a happy meal burger but costs 3 times as much and then the greens on the burger is clearly not fresh, turning brown, and dead plant looking. The patty looks like it's been standing cold for a day and even the bun is old and hard. Suffice it to say I will NEVER...
