Wild Rocket Cafe — Restaurant in Erongo Region

Wild Rocket Cafe has been beautifully done, letting one forget of the sand and dust in the streets outside. Only drawback of their interior decorating is the plastic chairs that look more fitted to a garden.

The food is delicious and the coffee amazing. We had kabeljou at a lunch special, which was very well prepared. I have since heard that the species is on the brink of extinction, so not sure how ethically correct it is to still serve the fish. Their dessert menu is not noteworthy and they didn't have any cakes or pastries.

The service level is not bad, but they weren't as attentive towards the end of our meal as they were at the start.

Clearer signage might be needed at the restrooms as a man walked out of the ladies'.

There's no allocated parking for the cafe that we could see, but it was easy enough to find parking on the street.

Great food and service at small, somewhat hidden gem. It is worth seeking them out for fresh, high quality, and large portions. The fresh squeezed OJ and Berrilious smoothie were great and refreshing. Yogurt with fruit was filled with fresh cut fruit and a generous portion of garnola with honey drizzled over it. The croissant French toast was super tasty served with fruit compose and whipped cream. So fresh and good.

My oh my what a fabulous discovery! We walked in shortly prior to lunch and bagged the last available table for two. They were FULLY booked for lunch. Inside and outside were all reserved with actual arrival times of patrons. Service was on point, quick and friendly, but when the food was presented we were blown away by the presentation and taste.
