Upon arrival, we noticed something strange in the way we were treated at the reception. The ladies at the front desk didn’t seem very welcoming towards us, possibly because we were Indian tourists. From the moment we interacted with them, we felt a sense of discrimination. This immediately put us off, as we were expecting a night of fun and enjoyment, but instead felt uncomfortable due to the cold and dismissive attitude we received.

When we inquired about getting a table, we were told that all the tables were fully booked unless we were willing to pay 10,000 NPR as cover charges. This seemed unreasonable to us—who would pay that kind of amount for just two people? What made the situation worse was seeing Nepali patrons enjoying their tables with just 2,000 NPR or simply ordering from the menu without such hefty charges. The disparity in treatment was evident, and it felt like we were being unfairly charged because of our nationality.

It wasn’t about the money for us. Had the service and hospitality been good, we wouldn’t have minded spending for a premium experience. But being treated differently and watching others enjoy the same tables for far less was disheartening. This discriminatory behavior left a bad taste, and we ultimately decided to leave the club, feeling unwelcomed and disappointed.
