My boyfriend and I stopped here during our trip in Amsterdam. We learned quickly that restaurants stop serving food to prep for dinner and only offer snacks or bites so that is what we got since we were starving. Tried bitterballen for the first time (pictured below). It was different, but we didn't hate it. The real star was the nachos. They were so GOOD. I am a lover of nachos and these tasted so fresh. I wish I knew where they got the chips or if they made them because they were the tastiest tortilla chips I have ever had. Definitely order those! As for service, we had a very friendly server. He seated us inside due to the patio being full but as soon as a spot opened he cleared it and moved us outside. Overall, it was a nice experience and it is a great spot to stop for a bite and to chat. We did not order an actual meal so I cannot speak on that which is why I just put 4 stars. Plus, even though it was between meals, it was still pretty busy. Either way, check it out if you can and...

Terrible service. We came in and asked to be seated but the blonde host wearing a suit jacket clearly didn’t want to help us. First telling us her colleague would help us, who never did. When she came back around a second time she told us to just sit at a table that was already open when we first arrived. When we requested a quieter seat that was available she just responded rudely with a no, and that was all they had, then walked off and clearly complained to her colleague. Clearly they have an issue with non-Dutch speaking and/or BIPOCs as I’m seeing more reviews like this!

We decided to walk out and spend our money elsewhere. I wanted to try this place before but I won’t be returning. Highly recommend everyone try other nicer establishments in the area. Train your...

I arrived for my reservation. The waiter came and asked what I wanted to drink. I ordered my drink. I sat there for 30 minutes and nobody came to me. While other people arrived after me and got serviced and got their meals/food. While I sat there with a drink and no waiter came by to ask what I wanted to order for food during the whole time. I signal the waiter multiple times and I got ignored. To finally he came and I ordered to pay and told him the reason why I was leaving. All he said was “sorry” keep in mind his girlfriend was there as a costumer with her parents and he also spent most of the time making out with her. The service was really bad. I was really excited to eat here. This place was trash. I rather take my money...

A true hidden gem! This small restaurant/snack spot is an exceptional find. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the passion — the staff is warm, attentive, and friendly, which immediately makes you feel at ease. As for the food, it’s simply flawless. The dishes are delicious, fresh, generous, and carefully prepared. You can tell everything is homemade with quality ingredients. Every bite is a delight! The atmosphere is friendly and cozy — it feels just like home. One thing is certain: I’ll be coming back without a doubt, and I highly recommend this place with all my heart. If you’re looking for an authentic spot to enjoy great food and a good time, don’t hesitate — you won’t be disappointed!

Loved loved loved this place! Tom is the best bartender in Amsterdam. Very nice knowledgeable guy and a hard worker. He was constantly on the move. He gave us great recommendations around town and also poured really good drinks. First time we ever tried Jenever too. His "Jet" drink was really tasty. The food here is gourmet bar food. Cheese plate, olives, sardines, fries, all of it was delicious. I highly recommend stopping by here after the Heineken Experience since it's only a few blocks away for a drink or a bite.
