Bagels & Beans — Restaurant in Amsterdam

The place is okay,the food is not bad (i mean they make the most out of bagels) but no matter what time I go - it takes ages for the waitresses to come and take the order. Couple of days ago I went there with my friend who had arrived earlier - so she was served - no one came to ask me if I needed anything. Later my friend went in to order at the counter when she was told that they would come and take her order. So I ordered after having waited for over half an hour. I found this place online and it was just perfect. The vibe was really relaxed and eclectic with nature elements throughout. From the sounds you hear when you open the menu, to the legs of the tables being made of bark, it was warm and inviting. I had a Tuna melt and Mocha with caramel sauce. While I thought the bagel was toasted too hard, once I took a bite it was perfect. Crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside. Horrible customer service- I was kept waiting for about an hour for a single bagel, with the explanation that "warm things take time" . If you're by yourself, they'll easily forget about you. Best not to go there unless you want to get a shot of a juice (a fraction of the total size of the juices they serve to customers to order them) for free as a "sorry not sorry we don't care...
