I recently visited the restaurant as pregnant with another 9 pregnant ladies to enjoy a nice brunch. We sat on the terrace which was a great spot to enjoy the nice weather we had that day, but that's when all the nice experience stopped. We let waiters know that we are all pregnant (all 8-9 months pregnant with huge bellies but we still mentioned it just in case), and that all the eggs coming to our table needs to be well done, no runny yolks. One of the ladies had to return her sandwich 3 times to ask for egg that is fully cooked, and after that she was told that they are not able to cook it more, it was obviously still liquid so I don't understand how come their kitchen has to take it out half raw and there is no option to cook it thoroughly. My order was completely mixed up and I didn't get my food until all the other ladies finished theirs. And once I got it, the egg was completely runny, but I didn't bother to return as at that point after 1 hour waiting for the food I was starving, so I just took out the egg.. I was waiting for the side bread for my dish (similar to shaskhuka), that was brought without it, for 15 min.. At the end one of my friends had to go in to bring it for me, because waiters couldn't for some reason.. I was disappointed and I am definitely not...
Read moreWe dined to 4 people . Ordered Entrecote with seasonal vegetables and chimichurri. My friend order 1/2 chicken with seasonal vegetables and jus. The other 2 had small orders of Bitterbälle. Entrecote was cooked fine, the 2 quarters of fennel as a seasonal vegetable in spring makes no sense (unless I read the menu wrong and it didn't say seasonal vegetables on it). The chimichurri lacked taste and presence on the dish. Friend said the chicken was cooked fine. Again lousy on the vegetable situation. For the money they make you pay they could put some more vegetables on the plate. Bitterbälle where nothing special. Beer was fine. The people beside us chain smoked the whole time. Politely asked if they could take a break while we eat and the stood up and moved tables.
For how many restaurants there are in Amsterdam I would choose somewhere else to eat next...

She pointed to a table in the corner under the loud speakers despite multiple other tables being available, then we waited, and waited. After 25 minutes we moved to another table and finally got a menu. Got water but no glasses. Our food came out first, our daughter was not so lucky she waited another 20 minutes and then half her dish arrived, waited another 15-20 minutes for the fries, by then the chicken it was supposed to accompany was gone. Got some bread even though our meals had been done for at least half an hour. Went up to pay, was charged...
