We came here for the €3 Taco Tuesdays, and it really did not disappoint! We ordered the following:
Elote Tacos Chorizo Tacos Pollo Tacos Chips & Guac Flores cocktail Michelada beer
The Elote tacos were amazing, super fresh tasting from the coriander and lime, but still salty from the cheese on top. These went great with the green salsa from the salsa bar and were the star of the night.
The chorizo tacos came in second place, with a rich smoky taste and fluffy potato pieces that melt in your mouth. These are great with the spicy valentina sauce, but are also a little on the salty side.
The pollo tacos were also delicious but didn’t have as much of a complex flavour. These worked well with the smokey brown salsa and extra onion.
The chips and guac were great, the guac was super fresh and not runny like some other places, and it was also well seasoned. The chips are fried tortillas, not store bought, which is a nice touch, and they’re extra crunchy. These are a must order!
The Flores cocktail is also very nice. Spirit-forward and floral, it tastes better the longer it sits and the ice melts.
The michelada was not a big hit, I saw someone recommend it online so took a risk and ordered it but considering I’m not much of a beer fan, I didn’t end up finishing it. That one’s on me, I should have known I wouldn’t enjoy it! 🤣 I will get the horchata next time as it also looked very good.
Overall I will definitely be returning. I’m already thinking about my next...

Camino Taqueria is the taco spot in Amsterdam—no debate. The vibe is effortlessly cool, the kind of place that feels both laid-back and electric at the same time. It’s local, it’s fun, and once you’ve been, you’ll keep finding excuses to come back.
Now, the food. The tacos? Unreal. The beef taco is a solid must, but the pan-fried taco with chipotle mayo? Absolutely next level. And if you go before 5 PM, they’re only €3 each (!!), which is honestly dangerous because you’ll want all of them.
Start with the totopos and guac—simple but done so right. The quesadillas are amazing, but whatever you do, do not skip the birria quesadilla. It’s rich, cheesy, and honestly one of the best things you’ll ever eat. The tacos hold their own with a great variety, and if you think vegetarian tacos are boring, the sweet potato ones will change your mind. Best move? Go with friends and order the whole lineup to share. End things on a high note with their rice pudding—it tastes like something a Mexican grandma would make, pure comfort.
Drinks are just as impressive. Camino takes their cocktails seriously—mezcal, tequila, big bold flavors that actually enhance the food instead of just being an afterthought. The Paloma and mezcal Negroni are chef’s kiss, but the real winners? The spicy margarita and michelada. Absolute game-changers.
Camino just gets it. No pretense, no shortcuts—just ridiculously good tacos, killer drinks, and an atmosphere that makes you want to...
