De Biertuin Prinsengracht — Restaurant in Amsterdam

Me and my friends got food poisoning after eating there last Monday!!

We ordered some deep fried snacks next to our beers. This snacks like bitterballen, onion rings, cheese fingers etc. should always come crispy and hot, however that wasn't the case here: What we got was a lukewarm snacks which here still row from the inside and should have never been served to no one in the first place because it is really dangerous. Coming from the restaurants and hospitality business I can indicate that the oil that they use to deep fry those snacks wasn't obviously even close to the right temperature it should have been and most probably wasn't replaced for a long time either... Stay away or at least don't dare to order any food in this place unless you like...

Our recent visit to this place left us with conflicting feelings. The cozy ambiance was inviting, but the staff’s rudeness and arrogance, coupled with a lack of professionalism from the manager, tarnished the experience. The waitress’s attitude suggested a sense of entitlement, and the manager failed to address our concerns. Despite the aesthetically pleasing environment, the need for improvement in customer service and staff training is evident. With changes in management and staff attitude Biertuin could transform into a truly enjoyable spot.
