I visited this restaurant without a reservation on 22 September (Thursday) for Dinner at 6:45 PM with my wife and 2 year old daughter who was quite hungry. I really disliked the server’s (I suppose he was the main waiter) behaviour and racist attitude towards us. Almost 60 % of the tables overall were empty. The inside seating was completely empty and we wanted to sit inside by the window (it was a cold evening) since our daughter wanted to see out the window by the seat to which the waiter was extremely rude and seemed really racist asking us to be smarter next time and reserve a table and made us sit outside stating that the tables were reserved . We were there until almost 9:30 Pm and not a single customer walked in the entire time and the ones that did walked in without a reservation like us and were allowed to seat inside and eat without any reservation. It’s pathetic how even in 2022 and the entire world becoming more open minded staff at this restaurant is still uneducated, racist and rude to its customers ! Even the service and politeness towards a child (my 2 year old hungry daughter ) was horrible , when we asked 25 mins after ordering our food if anything is ready since she is very hungry , to which the blatant response was “you need to wait!”. I hope non white / foreign customers don’t waste their money and dine here . Avoid the embarrassment and...
Read moreCentral location and vibey, quantity is good, unfortunately that was all that was right. This is what was unacceptable: quantity trumps quality and the food and wine was not up to standard the penne, mushroom, bacon and blue cheese pasta was incredibly salty the pizza was incredibly salty wine is not a good quality, either too sweet or too acidic. Please Do not order the chardonnay if you don't want sauvignon blanc. order changes (taglitialle requested to replace penne), did not arrive but was on the bill charged for a beer which did not arrive, and when mentioned, the Italian waitor screamed across the whole restaurant that he knows for a fact it a as delivered (which I certainly was not) embarrassing my out of town guests from Luxembourg the rude Italian waitor spoke then in Dutch to a colleague about us, which I could fully understand his insults.
Pity, I could of brought many people to your restaurant. At least the one other colleague tried to save a 'memorable in the wrong way' evening.

It’s the perfect place to go if you’ve been turned away from lots of fully booked restaurants and by that point you just need sustenance, blessed sustenance. It’s the perfect place to go once you’ve realised that you don’t want to sample the local cuisine tonight, you just need something safe and familiar to fill you up.
Antonios isn’t the place to go if you want to do as the locals do. Antonios isn’t the place to go if you want to show off about your travels on the internet. Antonios isn’t the place to go if you want to be pushed out of your comfort zone.
If a friend tells me they’re going to Amsterdam will I insist they must visit Antonios? No. Will Antonios be the highlight of my holiday? No. Was it exactly what my partner and I needed on the evening of the 2nd of...
