Absolute gem of a find for anyone who loves sandwiches and/or ethically sourced premium meats.
The owners pour serious love into this place. While they assembled what might be the best broodjes Iâve ever eaten, they talked about their mission to source meat sustainably and ethically. Tried two sandwiches so far, and both were incredible:
Pastrami (âŹ10) â Wild-goose pastrami, perfectly spiced with an out-of-control spice mix. Homemade mayo, sharp pickles, and peppery rocket pull it all together, and the fresh-baked sourdough ciabatta (fluffy inside, crispy outside) seals the deal. Would order again in a heartbeat.
The Wild Sausage (âŹ8.50) was another hit, packed full of thick smokey sausage meat, onions, pickles, and a punchy relish with hints of dill in the same fluffy sourdough ciabatta bun.
Paired them with a âSparkling & Woodyâ wild tea, a subtle but delicious way to wash down the main events.
