De Stoof — Restaurant in Amsterdam

Our favourite bar/pub in the the red light district area.

The atmosphere was amazing, the staff were getting involved and the music was on point.

On the few times i have visited Amsterdam this bar was responsible for one of my favourite ever moments.

Everything was great and the vibe was just right.

There is a lot bars in this area that put me on edge but this was not one of them, fantastic place to visit for a few drinks, we were supposed to go in for 1 drink and ended up staying a...

We visited this bar on a hen do, the ladies were harassed by a group of men who spoke an unfamiliar language. We approached the staff and asked if they could help and no action was taken to make us feel anymore comfortable. The behaviour continued and the staff did not help: this lead to us being forced to leave. They also charged us for spirit and mixer and continuously gave us no spirit. Beer is pretty expensive here - we paid €7 for a bottle of corona and roughly the same for a small vaasje of the beer on tap. The seats are covered in strange cushions that are maybe imitation leather but look and feel like plastic gym mats.
