Ramen-Ya Amsterdam is a culinary gem that exceeded my expectations in every way! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome and a cozy atmosphere that set the tone for a fantastic dining experience.
The ramen itself was phenomenal – rich, flavorful, and expertly prepared. I opted for the Tonkotsu Ramen, and the creamy pork broth was absolutely divine. The noodles were cooked to perfection, and the toppings were generous and fresh. Each bite was a delight, and I found myself slurping down the noodles with gusto.
What impressed me most about Ramen-Ya Amsterdam was the attention to detail and commitment to authenticity. The chefs clearly have a deep understanding of traditional ramen-making techniques, and it shows in every aspect of the dish. From the tender pork slices to the perfectly boiled egg, every element was carefully crafted to create a harmonious and delicious whole.
The service was also top-notch – friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Our server was happy to answer questions about the menu and offered excellent recommendations. The staff's passion for ramen was evident in their enthusiasm and expertise.
The restaurant's decor is modern and sleek, with a cozy intimacy that makes it perfect for dates, business meetings, or casual gatherings with friends. The background music was tasteful and unobtrusive, allowing us to focus on the delicious food and conversation.
What truly sets Ramen-Ya Amsterdam apart is its dedication to quality and consistency. Every element of the meal, from the food to the service to the atmosphere, was exceptional. I've been to many ramen shops before, but Ramen-Ya Amsterdam stands out as one of the best.
In short, Ramen-Ya Amsterdam is a must-visit destination for anyone who loves good food and great atmosphere. Whether you're a ramen aficionado or just looking for a delicious meal, this place is sure to impress. I'll definitely be back for more – perhaps to try some of their other menu options! Five stars isn't enough – I'd give it even more if I could. Highly...
Read more9.5/10 my first time in Amsterdam and wanted to try ramen. I looked at Google maps and saw that this had a lot of good reviews and wanted to taste for myself.
I ordered the Hakata Deluxe Shoyu with rice and coffee and let me tell you this. The broth was a surprise because it was creamy and I've never had that before, then I tasted the pork... And HOLYY I have never had meat that falls apart that easily. Sure I haven't had any expensive meat so this was a first. After that I had the green onions and it were just green onions then I spotted something in the soup on the right side... I first thought it were some mushrooms but no it was the bamboo (or atleast I think it was) and when I took a bite of the bamboo. It was like one of the moments in the anime show: "food wars". The amount of flavour that came from that bite was amazing. After that I tried the egg and it was also pretty good but not comparible to the bamboo. I then tasted the noodles and didn't expect it to be that long.
After the noodles I wanted something sweet to counter the umami/saltiness of the noodles so I asked for desert and they only had mochi ice cream. Two of the flavour that I liked weren't available but it doesn't matter I just had the best ramen ever (for me)
After I ate it all I left satisfied knowing I will be returning and with not only the quantity but also...
Read moreMy friends and I are visiting Amsterdam for the weekend and wanted to try out some ramen, so we came across Ramen-Ya. I got the chicken buns and the shoyu ramen, and I’d rate everything a 4/5.
The staff was super quick, and the food took no time to come out, which was a pleasant surprise. It’s always great to not have to wait long when you’re really hungry. The atmosphere was casual and welcoming, making it a perfect stop after our busy travel day. I started with the chicken buns, which my friend and I shared. They were fantastic! The buns themselves could’ve been a bit softer, but they were still good. The chicken was perfectly crunchy, and the sauce was great. For the ramen, I opted for the shoyu. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the egg was cooked just right, with a smooth, creamy yolk that paired perfectly with the soup. However, the pork was a bit too fatty for my taste. It practically disintegrated in my mouth, which wasn’t ideal. I understand that some people like the tenderness of fatty cuts, but I would have preferred leaner slices. That said, everything else in the bowl, including the noodles and toppings, was on point. Overall, Ramen-Ya is definitely worth a visit if you’re in Amsterdam and craving some solid ramen. The speed of service and the quality of the food make it a...
