I live nearby, I came here many times and brought friends. I love their tastes and vibe.

But, I’m having bad experiences with their no laptop policy in the week. It’s ok during the weekend but why during the week? And on the weekend, when you are done with your meal - if you don’t eat or drink something new - someone comes and asks if you want something every 10 mins. So we get up because it’s annoying.

I came to work on a thursday, ordered my coffee and breakfast. Joined my meeting which is from 10:00 until 12:00. I was eating my breakfast, listening to my meeting and at 11:00 they came to warn me about no laptops allowed from now. There were at least ten tables empty. Ten minutes later they came again to say they checked with the manager and it’s fine until it gets busy so I can keep my laptop.

I understand the logic of a no laptop policy, you want customers to stay shorter, have as much as customers possible - i understand it’s a business but this is no factory which needs to run with 100% efficiency. Unfortunately it kills the positive, naive feelings from me as a customer that I belong to a place and I go frequently and they care...

I stepped into this so-called café with moderate expectations and left wondering if my taste buds had been assaulted in a back alley.

The coffee? A revolting abomination. Over-roasted to the point of cremation, it tasted like someone had brewed it using burnt tires and soil from a graveyard. It was bitter, overpowering, and borderline undrinkable – the kind of flavor that sticks to your soul like regret.

My friend, the poor soul, ordered the "homemade" iced tea. Homemade? Perhaps, if your home is a pharmaceutical lab. It reeked of artificial sweetener and cough syrup, a medicinal monstrosity masquerading as a beverage.

The service was a comedy of errors – if the joke was that we paid for it. The cashier let us stand there like idiots for five full minutes while she finished serving someone else, completely ignoring us. The waitress, whose disheveled appearance screamed "rehab escapee," looked like she hated every second of her job – and us.

The only redeeming factor? The price. But honestly, I wouldn’t drink this filth again if they paid me.

Do yourself a favor – avoid this disaster of a café. It’s not just bad....

Arriving around 11 for brunch I started with the batch coffee from Kenya. The coffee was as advertised by the server, complex, interesting and very good. It was served in a beautiful stone tower with a matching cup and gave me the refill or two that was exactly what I needed to start a late morning. I had the Brekky sandwich and it was delicious! A genuine English muffin they source from a local bakery filled with a perfectly runny fried egg topped with thick bacon and spring onions (yes!) and a creative in-house ketchup. I was satisfied and full all day until dinner. Oh, by the way, rumor has it they will soon be open evenings with an expanded menu. I can’t wait!
