Visited Amsterdam from New Orleans in the US. Great little place I found when I was recommended Surinamese food by a local friend. The man who took my order was really kind and suggested the chicken roti. The roti was great! A little bit flaky and chewy. And the chicken dish with the potatoes and green beans was exactly was I needed in that moment. Really comforting food that fills the soul.
