This was my first Indonesian kitchen experience. The staff was very patient and helpful. We build together a large meal that seemed pretty good. He popped it in the oven for a few minutes and gave it to me. For what it was, the experience was nice. I had 0 issues at the place.

However it is a buffet with things prepared in advance, so you can't expect them to be super fresh. As I visited the place instead of ordering, I had no illusions about that and it covered my expectations nicely.

Without a doubt, the best Indonesian restaurant in Amsterdam, and possibly in the Netherlands. Being Indonesian myself, the food here is a 100% resemblance to what I've had in Indonesia. The taste is perfect, the sambal is perfectly spicy. Whether it's Rendang, Satay, Telor, or the vegetables, everything is similar to what I've enjoyed back in Indonesia.
