I wish I could give more stars, but the food was a bit disappointing. We ordered octopus, frog legs, beetroot and mussels. Octopus an frog legs had so much of a mayonnaise. Why would you do that, there is so many ways to make these dishes taste great, especially octopus. Octopus itself was very tender and delicate, it was such a shame that the dish was ruined by the amount of mayonnaise. The legs then came with the generous amount of mayonnaise too, which of course was too much after our starter. Beetroot tasted better in terms of flavor balance and textures, but the squid there didn’t really play any role, it was tasteless and the texture of squid didn’t make any difference to the dish. The idea is nice and fresh but a bit more of work needed to that dish for sure. Actually it would have been a better starter. Finally the mussels were the best ones, the liver sauce was very tasty. Service was very good overall, though our waiter after hearing the feedback about octopus and frog legs didn’t ask us about the other meals we have gotten afterwards. Also didn’t really tried to make our experience better after the feedback. The place is quite young so I hope they take feedback seriously and wish them to get better...

I woke up this morning still shocked by the experience I had at this restaurant last night, and I feel compelled to share just how disappointed I am. I truly don’t understand how anyone could rate this place positively—my experience was nothing short of awful.

The dish I had was absolutely terrible. It was either overly salty or completely bland—there was no balance, no flavor. It felt like the chef just threw random ingredients together without any care or thought for the dish. I couldn’t even tell what I was eating; it was that bad. Everything was just so poorly executed.

To make matters worse, when I immediately told the employee about how bad the food was, she didn’t seem to care at all. The staff, including the so-called “chefs” (though I hesitate to even call them that), completely ignored us for the rest of the evening. They wouldn’t even make eye contact. It was as if they were avoiding any confrontation, which just added to the overall frustration of the experience.

Honestly, I can’t understand how this place has any good reviews. My experience was nothing short of frustrating, and I would strongly advise anyone to stay away. This was a truly...

Eeekk I’ll be surprised this these guys can stay open! The food is ok. Beef cheek was burnt black and dry! Duck was nice. Plates were greasy and i could see finger prints on them, totally gross. If you are aiming for fine dining then why do you half ass it? The music was blaring, its a small place with bar taking up most of the space with three tiny tables at the back jammed up against each other and the toilet. We asked to lower the music several times only to be told by a very young emotionless dutch guy that it was the concept of the restaurant 😂! Half way through our meal the bar was packed and the atmosphere was good. But its like they are trying to tick all boxes … wine/cocktail bar, fine dining ? Do one of the other. Its not fun to eat and chat with friends with Dire straits blaring in your ear or waiters banging off your chair each time they need to pass. The only saving grace was the polite Danish waiter, they accommodate allergies and...

Had such a great time here! We've been going to cafe beurre (the sister restaurant) quite often and were excited to hear about this place when we were last there. Came with a party of two, sat on the bar just in front of the stove. Service was professional, yet very casual and familiar from the moment. We dined a la carte and all dishes were super tasty and surprising with flavors, techniques and presentation. All were executed flawlessly. Tried frog legs for the first time and it was delicious, mussels in liver saus were my personal favorite. Also worth mentioning a tomato and poached egg dish that was unlike anything I'd expect (in a good way) and the tête de moine appetizer. In general we had more fun with the appetizers and entrees than with the main course (which was still great). My partner is pescatarian and I was worried a bit before coming but we had no problem selecting dishes. Would highly recommend!
