Pizza Beppe Raadhuisstraat - Amsterdam Westermarkt — Restaurant in Amsterdam

"I recently visited this restaurant with two companions, having seen it recommended online. Upon our arrival, we were directed to a corner that contained two tables. To our surprise, instead of a warm welcome, the staff made disrespectful remarks about us in Italian, assuming we wouldn't understand. As an Italian speaker, I was deeply offended by their comments, which included calling us 'stupid'. We decided to leave immediately after just two minutes in the restaurant. This was by far one of the worst experiences I've ever encountered with customer service. I hope this feedback helps others in their decision-making and encourages the restaurant to reflect on their approach...

i ordered three vegetarian pizzas via ubereats. two of them had sausage on top instead of mushrooms, wich made them inedible to us due to not eating meat. the other pizza - a 3 formaggi - had the consistency of rubber (i dont know if it was burned or cooked wrong but it was bad). when i called the staff told me to just get a refund on uber and order from somewhere else instead, cause he apparently could not be bothered to make and send new ones.

We were looking for a pizza spot to try out and stumbled upon Pizza Beppe! It was the perfect place to stop in and relax and enjoy lunch. Bernie, our server, was phenomenal and kind and spoke English, too!

We split a Margherita pizza and added mushrooms and onions. Omg it was so good, and he also suggested trying some spicy olive oil too, which took the flavors to the next level.

After we finished our pizza, we each had a perfectly made cappuccino, made by Bernie himself. All in all, it was a fabulous experience and I'd recommend Pizza Beppe to anyone, even if it means walking or taking the Metro...
