We visited this restaurant as a group of six and were warmly welcomed upon arrival. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting – a pleasant blend of traditional charm and modern comfort. On the recommendation of our attentive and genuinely friendly server, we opted for a mixed platter to sample a variety of the house specialties. The meal began with a selection of finger foods – nicely presented, freshly prepared, and offering a flavorful variety. This was followed by a crisp and refreshing starter salad, dressed lightly and made with fresh ingredients. The main course was the highlight of the evening: a generously portioned platter featuring Adana kebab, lamb chops, and marinated chicken – all perfectly grilled and seasoned. It was served on a bed of fragrant rice that complemented the rich flavors of the meats beautifully. The quality of the meat was excellent – tender, juicy, and full of taste. The portion size was more than sufficient; everyone in our group left the table feeling satisfied, but not overwhelmed. For dessert, we were served baklava – and it was truly outstanding. Not overly sweet or drenched in syrup, it struck just the right balance of crisp pastry, flavorful filling, and light sweetness. A freshly brewed tea was served alongside, providing the perfect finishing touch. The value for money was absolutely fair, especially considering the quality and quantity of the food. The service was consistently friendly, attentive without being intrusive, and you could tell the staff took pride in what they do. Final Verdict: A delightful culinary experience with authentic dishes where both taste and hospitality are top priorities. We will definitely be coming back – this restaurant is a true hidden gem for anyone who appreciates high-quality Middle Eastern cuisine.

After unexpectedly having my mind blown away by their chicken doner on a completely random visit here back in 2017, there was absolutely no question that my first real meal back in Amsterdam had to be Sefa. Five years later, this is still the best damn chicken doner I've ever had! I don't know what they do to make this chicken so flavorful, but I've never had anything like it anywhere else in the world. And this is coming from a guy who prefers beef or lamb. In fact, it's so good that I came here TWICE on my recent Amsterdam trip. This time around, I actually tried the lamb doner. It's alright, but it has nothing on the chicken shawarma. That chicken doner sandwich I had was just FIRE. Staff here are really friendly. Very casual place, they make you feel quite welcome. Pay up front before you leave. I promised these guys that I would give them a great review and I'm holding up my end of the bargain. Sefa is 100% worth it and will be a permanent fixture of my food tours every time I go to Amsterdam!

From the outside it looks like “any” fast food kitchen but this is a fully manned and specialised Turkish dine-in/takeaway with some of the best food (especially mixed grill), salads, soup at an affordable price. We came to a fully occupied place so had to sit next to the cold entrance but after 5mn the staff sent us upstairs where a cosy freed up table waited for us. Just like in a traditional Turkish restaurant, the place is bustling with Turkish staff running around to make sure everyone is at ease, ensuring there is enough of the side dishes available or additional wishes are being taken care of. It’s the second time we came here before a theater session and no regrets in having our dinner there. If we compare with other wannabe fancy restaurants (where you pay in average 3-4x more!), Sefa is by far the best one! I forgot to tip the staff as we were in a rush therefore here is an excellent review.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sefa Grill Amsterdam is an absolute gem! From the moment you step in, you're greeted with warm hospitality and a delightful aroma of 100% halal delicious food. The service here is lightning-fast, ensuring you're never left waiting hungry.

Now, let's talk about the grilled food – it's truly a masterpiece! Each bite bursts with flavors, and the grilling technique is spot on, delivering that perfect charred goodness. The portions are generous, ensuring you leave with a satisfied appetite.

But what truly sets Sefa Grill apart is their attention to detail. Not only is the food phenomenal, but they also go the extra mile to make you feel special. We were pleasantly surprised with complimentary baklava, which was an incredibly nice touch!

They also have an allergy register with the ingredients of their items in the menu.

Plus, convenience is key! The tram stops right outside, making it super easy to hop over for a delicious meal.

Whether you're craving a quick bite or a full-on feast, Sefa Grill Amsterdam is the place to be. Don't miss out! #HalalFood #GrilledGoodness #FastService...
