After unexpectedly having my mind blown away by their chicken doner on a completely random visit here back in 2017, there was absolutely no question that my first real meal back in Amsterdam had to be Sefa.

Five years later, this is still the best damn chicken doner I've ever had! I don't know what they do to make this chicken so flavorful, but I've never had anything like it anywhere else in the world. And this is coming from a guy who prefers beef or lamb. In fact, it's so good that I came here TWICE on my recent Amsterdam trip. This time around, I actually tried the lamb doner. It's alright, but it has nothing on the chicken shawarma. That chicken doner sandwich I had was just FIRE.

Staff here are really friendly. Very casual place, they make you feel quite welcome. Pay up front before you leave.

I promised these guys that I would give them a great review and I'm holding up my end of the bargain. Sefa is 100% worth it and will be a permanent fixture of my food tours every time I go...
