Renato's Pizzeria - De Pijp — Restaurant in Amsterdam

Renato Finito... This used to be one of the best pizza place around Amsterdam but this completely changed since the pandemic. Pizzas are no longer good (they probably changed the oven and no longer use a wood oven which gave that super nice taste) and the toppings are very scarce. There are way better alternatives all around which are tastier and also cheaper. Our plates were dirty, utensils were not replaced after our starter. The Coppa di parma was miserable, the ruccola was not fresh and since there was no bread with it they served us a few squares of pizza base leftovers which we had to pay an extra 3.5 euro for. Also the tap water is 3 euro and since they are understaffed it is put on the table after you've finished eating. We had to wait 15 minutes for the menus, then the pizzas came after at least an hour. I told my partner that if the pizzas were not as good as they used to be we would never come back. They weren't good. Very bad service. We waited more than an hour for the pizzas. The table next to us got the pizzas we ordered because the waitress messed up the order. When I told her that those were our pizzas she insisted it is theirs. The couple next to us sat there only for a couple of minutes although we've been waiting for long and I was sure those were our pizzas because they were very specific not what most order ('Nduja and another one). I told the waitress to check and then she comes back after talking to her colleague who took our order and told us that yes those were our pizzas and not even an apology that she messed up. So we had to wait again for 15mins more. Not returning there simply because of the poor service. Not to mention that another waiter when he brought the water, he touched the glass which fell on the table (it was empty thankfully) and he didn't even say sorry and...
