Rum baba is my neighbourhood coffee shop. I really enjoy this place for a quick to go coffee, they make fantastic flat whites, and they really know their coffee. There is very limited seating, so I have never sat inside and there is other places on the street that provide better and more affordable pasteries so I really see this as a take away coffee spot with some of the best coffee in the city. I have however had mixed results with their beans, I bought a bag of one of their diamond blends and it tasted very chemically flavoured, I couldn't explain it but it was very expensive and I had to throw away most the bag even after serving my friends some. It smelt very strong of almost candy I am not sure what it was. But all of their yellow bag espresso beans...

Honestly extremely very…average. Granted when I say average that’s a banging cup of European flat white so it’s a 4 star ⭐️ (I wish I could Dave portnoy these reiviews this is really a 3.7)

Roast was a little bitter (that’s over roasted for you normies), seating was meh, and kind of a messy shop tbh

Obviously blows the brains 🧠 out of the italian burn your face off volcano or the America can’t even call it coffee trash but honestly I expected more…
