This is the place to go if you want to experience beautiful seafood, views, atmosphere and on point service. We were greeted at the entrance and brought to our table. It’s best to reserve but not during peak times but we had a beautiful seaside view. Our server Germaine Alberto was on point and took our drink order. We had a funny interaction because he had the same phone as I and thought he dropped it on the table.
We asked for certain kind of a wine that was unfortunately out and the Alberto made some good recommendations. After sampling we found the right bottle for our evening.
We ordered the Fried Calamari as an appetizer which came out to perfection. It was delicious and we also ordered bread which comes with Crab-salad on the side.
Our server Alberto was great at going through some of the options as we came for the Lobster Thermidor. There were several ways to prepare, so we went with the cheese cream sauce and recommended 1K each person.
So we ordered our own kilo and it would take awhile to prepare, but when you have a bottle of wine, time slows down. It was an excellent night to sit back and enjoy the evening, they even had fireworks going off in the background. Spectacular!!
When the Lobster Thermidors came out, it looked and smelled and tasted delicious. Well done to the kitchen staff that put this together! There was also an order of pasta fettuccine which was amazing! Everything was so fresh tasting with all the right textures.
Our server Alberto was fantastic and followed up on all the right times. Excellent customer service the entire journey. I would highly recommend him and the establishment. Great job to the entire staff, great positive vibes with some great dishes. Hit that like button...
Read moreWent to dinner with my wife and kids. The location is great, right on the water. The food was OK, my wife had shrimp which was overcooked and I had ribs which were tasty. The biggest issue was around the service and drinks. We both ordered a cocktail except my wife's drink was undrinkable. She took one sip and we informed our waitress it had WAY too much salt and that we didn't want it and at that time my wife had lost any confidence in the restaurant and didn't want anything else.
When it came time to pay they still had her drink on the bill and when I asked it to be removed since she didn't drink it they said because she had one sip they couldn't remove it. I was in shock that they would try to charge us for a drink that was undrinkable and made such a big deal about it. They ultimately removed it but only after I continued to argue with them over it. Terrible way to treat a customer over such a...
Read moreI can’t believe this place is as highly rated as it is. There has to be some sort of review buying/incentives happening because this place was GARBAGE. Cliff notes of what went wrong:
recommended lobster tacos that ended up being a hard shell filled with sour cream and a few crumbles of lobster No detectable liquor in drinks Wait staff took forever and was recommending most expensive items on menu (I know I’m a “dumb American” but at least pretend I’m not lol) Small portions, greasy food, tuna cooked to the hardness of shoe leather Overpriced to the max which added insult to injury. We’re talking sub Applebee’s quality food for $50/person.
This was the first place we ate on the island and almost ruined our expectations for the rest. Thankfully we found places with quality food that didn’t treat us like wallets with legs later. If you want good seafood check out...
