Krok Madam — Restaurant in Eindhoven

I was surprised with how unwelcoming the staff was the other day, since I have never come across such thing in the Netherlands before. We felt like intruders, as the waitress would look at us as if we were bothering her with our presence, even though we were polite and unproblematic all the time. Quite unprofessional to treat customers with rolling one's eyes, and, visibly to the guests, to stare at the phone. It would be useful to at least pretend to enjoy working at the restaurant, for the sake of the atmosphere and satisfaction of the guests. When (toasted) sandwiches are your specials, what would you expect ? Me, some quality sourdough bread and an appetizing presentation with the ingredients. I’m sorry to say, but its a downer to serve regular cheap fluffy bread that has no taste, and which have shrunk with all ingredients melted in between to a small flat patty on the plate. Although there were not many tables, the service was very very slow. After waiting for a long time, they brought our foods but they added mayonnaise-like sauce all over the dish, even though that sauce is not included in the menu for the food that I chose.
