Ekmekci Eindhoven — Restaurant in Eindhoven

First of all, it is wonderful to see Muslim Community making real restaurant business in crowded/touristic areas other than having only Döner Kiosk. This is important in terms of finding halal food outside. Even though the owner is Turkish I was informed, employees are from different countries with very well English speaking ability.

I went there with my family and we ordered Kumpir, Gözleme (both are mediterranean style) and fries. Kumpir was leicht and fresh with green stuff on top, fries was really fresh and best ever with tasty ketchup. For gözleme, vegetables inside was not homogeneous. Partly with potato and cheese (was tasty) , partly big pieces of aubergine (lack of taste). I would kindly recommend to grind all ingredients (patlıcan rendelenmeli ve sotelenmeli hepsi) and make a well distributed taste overall of the Yufka.

As drinks, we preferred ginger lemon tee and happy berry. Drinks were really successful. I enjoyed it.

We came here for an early dinner bite and a drink. It was quiet and we were friendly welcomed. We had some gepofte aardappel (jacket potato) and a couple of lemonades, both super delicious! The lemonade was quite a big quantity especially compared to the usual 250ml bottled drinks, so that was nice. And in top of that, they made them lower in sugar upon request, and the waiter was very kind to check it was to our liking.

Reading some existing comments, we had none of commonly mentioned issues; staff was very nice and spoke English (they were even patient and kind to let us finish our meal even though we ignorantly didn't know if was already closing time), we could easily pay by card, atmosphere was nice and we got good food. It was also a late Tuesday, so not busy at all, so not sure if this might change for...

The food is great, no questions about it. We used to come here quite often, like twice a month and we knew that the service was not the best, they sometimes didn't bring all our food without us asking twice for it, but today today was the worst experience ever!!! We came here for brunch at 11h40, it is now 13h00 and we were still not served!!! We went to ask for our food at 12h20, by now, still nothing, a guy just came here and we told him we have been waiting for an hour and he was surprised!!! Surprised!!! How is this even possible!!! How come we asked for our food 40min after we ordered and 30min later they are still surprised??? Didn t they communicate??? I say again, the food is great!!! But never again!!! Come at your own risk!!!
