The most awful experience in Eindhoven. If I could give 0 stars I would. I am allergic to pepper and after careful reading the menu I opted for the cottage pie. I received, together with some other two mates of mine, something that was beyond spicy. One of my friend, was crying for how much it was spicy! After informing the waiter about it (it was uneatable) he asked me if I wanted to eat something else. The pie was almost intact I could only eat a spoon. So I ordered a schnitzel. The quality of the food, it’s below zero. In the schnitzel there were some over, over cooked green peas, not talking about the oily fried meat that gave me stomach ache. When it was time to pay, we noticed that the pie was included. We went asking for removing it and the waiter, with a poker face, looked at me saying you should have known that the original English recipe is like this so I cannot take it out if the bill. You should have read the menu and the ingredients. First, there was no info on the menu about how spicy was that awful plate, second, I am not English so I don’t know the recipe. If you don’t write it down on the menu I am no oracle. I can’t know. He told me it is your fault, you should have informed us before your ordered your food. This is a plate of 16,5€ over a bill of 300€. Never ever going there again anymore and be careful! AWFUL, below zero.
PS. I went reading the recipe over BBC and no pepper was included… someone is lying.. bad job. Awful customer service. 🤢🤢🤢 awful...
Read moreLooking for a disappointing review of Trafalgar Pub? Look no further! My experience at this establishment left much to be desired. My friends and I ordered a variety of dishes, including the calamari and steak, and unfortunately, neither lived up to our expectations. The salmon and carpaccio were passable, but not particularly noteworthy.
To wash down our meal, we ordered a round of Guinness beers, only to be served something that tasted entirely different. When we brought this to the attention of our waitress, she was dismissive and insisted that it was the "original" beer. Even after consulting with our Irish friend, who confirmed that something was off with the taste, the waitress remained rude and unhelpful.
To make matters worse, the atmosphere was stifling and airless, and the service was painfully slow for a Thursday night. All in all, I would not recommend Trafalgar Pub as a dining...
Read moreMid-to-low quality pub. Supposed to be a British pub, but the designers don't appear to have ever been to a pub in the UK! Tables set out, with individual table lights; no real bad. Atmosphere dead.
Unfortunately, food was poor. Moreover, I ordered a veggie burger---even had a joke with the very friendly waiter about the name. Food took quite a while to arrive, and they brought a meat burger. I'm not actually veggie, but try to eat less meat. It had already been cooked, so I just had it; would've taken ages for a new one to come. It was very poor quality.
Four of us had mains which came with chips, but they only brought us one pack of chips, and put it in the centre of the table.
Come paying time, they complained that we wanted to pay separately.
2, rather than 1, because the...
