Lezzet Grill — Restaurant in Maastricht

I have never felt more uncomfortable and disrespectfully treated than at this restaurant! We waved at the waiter 3 times, only when my boyfriend tried it he finally came to us. He did not even look at us when we ordered. My sister and me waited over 30 minutes! for two alcohol free cocktails (other customers got a whole meal in the due time). We didn‘t get the Bitter lemon that we ordered, but still got charged for it. Only when I asked about it they gave us the money back. Despite all that we were still friendly customers and didn’t deserve to be treated like that! I don’t know what is wrong with these people, since we could not think of anything we did wrong (even asked for a table instead of just sitting down) Can’t...

So there's doner kebab shops and then there's authentic Turkish restaurants...like Lezzet Grill. I came here years back when they opened and have not eaten Turkish anywhere else ever since. It's safe to say that this is probably the best Turkish restaurant in Maastricht. The service is amazing but what makes it even more note-worthy, is the fact that the staff are just as competent and nice during their islamic fasting month of Ramadan as any other time...Which blows my mind. The ambience inside gives you a feeling of Istanbul and their warmth stays with you after you leave. I've met the owner several times and he asks me if I enjoyed my meal and it comes off as very welcoming. Definitely worth...
