Pinky — Restaurant in Maastricht

My friend and i went here to get dessert. The place was filled so we asked if they could clean (an empty) table outside, and the server said they are busy and dont have time to do so. Okay.. somebody else leaves and we get a decent spot. We order 2x belgium waffle and 2x tea. The waffles were dry, and their teabag was completely dried out, as it didnt even color my tea properly (black tea). And they only had coffee cream to the tea, that tasted sour! And when i say this they apparently get offended, and start telling me that i am wrong and putting me on the spot, and they said “how can you say its sour when we serve it everyday and nobody else complains.”

This was a very unpleassant and bad experience. Would not recommend comming here if you are looking fot a cozy place to get dessert.

Always good to stop by and select from a vast choice of ice cream flavours. The overcrowded shop might be annoying sometimes, especially when ice cream and crumbles are not cleaned in an appropriate timeframe. But I understand that serving the large amount of clients coming in has top priority.

Pricewise I'd say it's not the cheapest but also not too expensive. Wish the scoops would be a little larger and that the spoons would be cleaned more carefully. Who wants pistachio mixed with maracuja?...

Pinky serves up some seriously delicious waffles that almost taste like the original – crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and just the right amount of sweetness. My top recommendation? Go for the chocolate sticks or Nutella as a topping – they really take it to the next level!
