I love pulled noodles and eat them at least a couple of times per month. So when they opened, I had to try it out. It was busy, because a lot of people wanted to try them out. The cashier was a little flustered, but I get that, because of how busy they were. I put in my order and immediately wanted to switch, so I stood back in line to change my meal. I asked if I could still switch, he said maybe the chef started already (mind you the chef was standing behind him). I asked him if he could ask. He looked annoyed and waited for the chef to walk away. When the chef came with the dough, the chef did no switching. It was just weird to me that he waited until the chef walked away to start. By the time I asked for this, there also wasn’t a line of people anymore. Everyone was sitting down and waiting for food, so I don’t get why he waited until the to ask the chef. But I accepted his answer and sat down.
When we could get our food, only the dumplings where ready and they told me to sit down and wait for the noodles. Not even a minute later I could pick up the noodles and they looked at me judgemental and said “didn’t you already get your noodles?”. I said “No because why would I still have the pager? Don’t you remember our conversation of not even 1 minute ago?”
They said ok and gave me my food. Pulled noodles are very filling and you don’t need a lot, but this portion was so tiny… it was ridiculous. My partner thought the same. The noodles and the dumplings were overcooked. Which is weird, because that is their entire business! The flavor was average.

Read moreOne thing about me: When there are freshly, home-made noodles and/or dumplings in town, I will try them! There is not a lot of choice but that is often a good thing. This often means that the things they serve are really good. We got the sauerkraut / pork dumplings, which were nice, however I wanted to order other dumplings but all the other kinds were sold out! They already sell such limited amount and now they only had one option available which was dissapointing.
The chili oil noodles were nice and chewy but had too few toppings. For me, this level of spiciness was good but if you can't handle a lot of spiciness, I wouldn't recommend choosing this option. We also had the beef noodle soup, which was ok but I didn't love it. The noodles in the soup lacked all the bite and chewiness. I think this is due to the noodles being too thin in combination with them being in the soup... Also, in my opinion, there was too much coriander (and I do like coriander).
In short, the noodles and dumpling are fine but not worth the price point! This is more of a fast food restaurant situation, e.g. getting your own food and drinks on a tray and getting called with a beeper when the order is ready. But this is way more expensive than a fast food restaurant should be and the food quality is not even that good...
Read moreThe restaurant was very crowded during our visit, and the space felt quite tight and uncomfortable for dining in. Ordering is done at the cashier, after which you’re given a device and expected to pick up your food from the bar—this added to the overall self-service feel, which may not suit everyone.
While the dumplings were flavorful, the portion size was quite large, making it difficult to try different varieties—especially for two people. We were only able to try one flavor, which was a bit limiting. The noodle portion, on the other hand, was relatively small, especially considering the pricing.
Overall, while the food was decent, the combination of limited seating space, self-service setup, and portion sizing made the experience less enjoyable...
