Little Italy — Restaurant in Rotterdam

Delicious italian food at reasonable price. I always recommend this place to friends and tourists visiting Rotterdam. Unfortunately, I had a negative experience today, in which the Cashier assumed that I bumped into another client in the line that resulted in the client dropping products that cashier had to replace. But I was cautious enough and didn’t cause this. In addition, I have waited for almost half an hour for pizza to be ready and 3 clients that arrived later got their pizzas before me. Finally, the cashier tried to give me a lesson in public, embarrassing me, by arguing “that is what happens” when you try to take shortcuts to cashier line, by the way, i took same route of every other customer buying pizzas. However, it was near closing time, pizzaiolos were struggling to match pizza orders, and I was hungry, therefore I decided to not pick the fight. But I really hope that next time, staff to b more gentle to clients, because accidents happens and it was not even my fault. Not sure where the good pizzabakers went but this is the first time i didnt eat this pizza! The dough wasnt even baked!! Also bc the baker did tomato ham cheese pineapple...so everything just fell off!!! A disgrace for real Italian pizzamakers!!!! But thats probably because they arent italians anymore. A kebab shop would probably better fit them! I took an english mate to this place and told him they have the best pizzas around here, although its not Napolitano style they were good when the old italian guy was still there. Probably he is dead or so otherwise he would not except this poor quality, he will turn around in his grave when seeing this! I will never go...

Small Italian supermarket. Also has pizza's and various options for lunch and dinner (e.g. various types of lasagna which you have to heat up). I like the various breads that they have. They used to have really nice goat cheese (nice addition to the bread). The place looks a bit dated and is slightly pricey with exception of their lunch food, that's cheap!

Employees are quite interesting personality wise.

Tip: You can e.g. order a bread with the toppings of a pizza, e.g. Vegetale (has artichokes). The lunch options could do with a little bit less...
