ToastUp Markthal — Restaurant in Rotterdam

Tijdens mijn bezoek aan de Markthal in Rotterdam proefde ik de tosti’s “Sweet Heat Chicken” en “Picca Beef” bij Toastup. Beide tosti’s boden unieke smaakprofielen, perfect voor een snelle lunch.

De “Sweet Heat Chicken” was een heerlijke combinatie van malse kip, cheddar kaas, tomaat, rode ui en groene paprika, afgemaakt met een zoet-pittige chilisaus. Deze saus was echt het hoogtepunt: perfect in balans, met net genoeg pit om spannend te zijn zonder te overheersen. De combinatie van knapperig brood en smeuïge vulling maakte deze tosti tot mijn favoriet.

De “Picca Beef” bood een andere smaakervaring. Het sappige rundvlees, gecombineerd met cheddar kaas, rode ui, sla, augurk en een vleugje piccalilly, was heerlijk hartig en licht zuur. De piccalilly zorgde voor een frisse twist, al vond ik dat het de andere smaken soms overschaduwde. Het brood was lekker knapperig, maar de tosti had wat meer kaas mogen hebben om alles samen te brengen.

Al met al zijn beide tosti’s creatief en rijk gevuld. Voor wie houdt van zoet en pittig is de Sweet Heat Chicken een aanrader, terwijl de Picca Beef perfect is voor fans van hartige en frisse smaken. Toastup bewijst dat een tosti meer kan zijn dan een...

The food was very delicious, very cheesy with good taste. The Toast Sweet Heat Chicken had good and tasty chicken filtes inside. The used sauce created a little spice that fits perfect to the amount of cheese and the green and red peppers.
