Arman Uyghur Restaurant — Restaurant in The Hague

I’ve been a loyal customer for 8 years, even though this restaurant has changed names a few times. One thing that never changes is the unbeatable food! Their Big Plate Chicken is hands down the best I’ve ever had. The prices are reasonable, and while the service is slow, I completely understand since everything is made to order. That’s exactly why the food is always fresh and full of flavor.

The biggest plus for me is that the food is spicy and halal—a perfect combination! But if you’re not into spice, they also have milder options like the dumpling soup, which makes it a great place for families with kids. And don’t forget to order their Uyghur tea—it’s a must-try!

Food was really tasty and reasonably priced. The service was a bit slow but it was very busy so understandable. We had ordered rice at the suggestion of our server and never got it but they were apologetic and we didn’t feel we needed it anyway. We also didn’t have any cutlery or napkins on our table and it took a while to flag the server down. We also asked for water and even though the server said they would bring it, they never did. Despite this, the food did make up for it and we would come back...

We had a memorable dinner at this newly renovated and recently opened Uyghur Restaurant in Den Haag. The staff were truly hospitable and friendly and made us feel very welcome. As for the food, it was one of the best Uyghur Cuisine we have tried here in the Netherlands. From the Meat Skewers to the Chicken Plate, Pilaf, Samsa, and Naan, they were all beyond description tasty and delicious. A true recommendation. Can't wait to be back. Thank you...
