I decide to go out on Friday night to Havana for a dance. However the bouncer wouldn't let my friend in because he is not a "regular customer". Meanwhile inside the club were not so many people. I mean how do you get "regular customers anyway?" It starts by letting new people come in and if its nice they keep coming. Plus what if a tourist is visiting the Hague and I want to have a good night out, does that mean they cant get in because they am not a regular customers? I honestly find this excuse very stupid and makes no sense at all. With this behavior, Havana only stands to lose if people stop coming there.
This not even the first time I've had this complaint with some of my classmates and friends have said the same. Just read some of the reviews about the night club and its bouncers and its easy to conclude that changes has to be made, whether by simply talking to the bouncers about their behavior or taking any other appropriate measure.
I have no agenda against the bouncers or against Havana, what I am trying to do here is to get constructive criticisms of its bouncers and how they relate to the customers. I hope the management will take appropriate measures to ensure that all are treated fairly and equally without any discrimination or bias. I like Havana and I think it has the potential to gain more customers especially now that club 7 is closed. Havana can take advantage of Club 7's customers as the music at the club is really good for...

They responded to one negative review by saying, “This is a restaurant, not a nightclub,” while their Instagram page and website clearly state that they have parties every Friday and Saturday night.
We tried to get in on three different nights to party and have a good time, but each time we were turned away with some stupid, nonsensical excuse, like “there’s no party tonight,” “it’s a private event,” or “you’re not regular visitors,” etc.
I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Go somewhere else, and maybe your night won’t be ruined by the staff at Havana.
Edit: It definitely happened at Havana, I am not senile. Among the reviews, there are photos uploaded of the bouncers, who rudely sent us...
Read moreIf possible, I would rate this establishment one star. My experience here was deeply disappointing and, as someone who values authentic Cuban cuisine, I found the food and atmosphere to be far from genuine. The menu lacks the authenticity that defines true Cuban dining, and what was served felt like a diluted interpretation rather than a celebration of our culture.
Signature dishes such as Ropa Vieja and Congrí con Rabo Encendido—cornerstones of Cuban cuisine—were absent. Even the beverage selection fell short, as a proper Cuba Libre made with Havana Club rum was unavailable. These are essential elements that reflect the spirit and authenticity of Cuban dining, and their absence speaks volumes.
As a Cuban, I found this experience not only disappointing but also disheartening. A restaurant that claims to represent Cuban culture should do so with respect, depth, and authenticity. Unfortunately, this establishment does not meet...
