Red Beans eat and drink, Bubble tea and dumplings — Restaurant in The Hague

TL;DR: unsatisfied, but will give it another chance because of their menu.

First time I went to this shop. I chose the red bean bubble tea (hot).

How the drink was: It tasted fine, but I do wish that they told me to shake my drink before consuming it (but that may just be on me and being inexperienced with bubble tea). The milk part of the drink was too salty to my taste, so mixing the whole bubble tea would have been better.

Some of the red beans in the drink were a bit hard, but I guess that will just add a different texture to the drink.

The wait: I must say that the (older) lady worked quite slow... when I ordered there was only one customer before me, ordering 2/3 drinks. No customers after me during my wait. In total from paying for the drink until receiving it, I had to wait 15 min... which is quite long especially if you are buying it while on lunch break.

Even when you don't count the previous order, she moved around like the sloth in Zootopia (a bit of an exaggeration, but you get the point).

Verdict: Not entirely satisfied, but I will give them another chance, as I do like their menu and want to...

Wow. Ok. So my wife and I are bubble tea enthusiasts and we visited quite a few bubble tea places over the years. We have missed this one somehow and today we finally stumbled upon it while running errands. We must admit this is one of the best bubble teas we have tried so far. Grapefruit green tea soda is perfect for hot weather and peach soda (don't remember entire name) is so unbelievably flavorful.

Prices might seem a bit on higher end, however we think we think it was totally justified. Giant juicy slices of fresh fruit, tasty pearls and general feel of high quality beverage. We also appreciated size of the portion and important to mention that drinks were ice cold yet staff didn't fill the cup with a bucket of ice. You get so much for the price you pay and staff definitely know what they're doing. Great job! We are coming back soon to try...

I have been to almost all the bubble tea shops in Central Den Haag and I am not exaggerating when I say this shop has one of the best bubble teas I have tried until now. The bubble tea was not only delicious and freshly made, but it was also not watered-down (unlike most of the other bubble tea shops) and the boba pearls are also one of the best I have tried until now. The pearls were not too chewy; they dissolved in the mouth faster while also still having just the right amount of chew to it.
