The Gyros Bar — Restaurant in Utrecht

The food is usually very good, but I had a bad experience today. I always order my sandwich without onions, but about 75% of the time, it still comes with onions. I think more attention should be paid during preparation.

Until now, when I pointed out the mistake, my sandwich was replaced without issue. However, today I was told it was just an onion that had fallen onto the salad and that none had been added inside — which I later found out was untrue, and beleive was said in purpose so that they get rid of me.

I was also asked whether I was allergic or simply didn’t like onions. I found this question unprofessional. If I order without onions, that should be enough — I shouldn’t have to justify my preference.

It’s a shame because I really like the sandwiches, but I hope the service and attention to...

The Gyros Bar boldly claims to sell 'legendary' Greek street food. Not only are they totally right, but legendary might be an understatement.

The food is phenomenal.

Finding filling, flavourful, authentic homemade Greek food is difficult but The Gyros Bar nails it in every category.

Fast and super friendly service. Hearty, tasty, creamy, rich tzatziki. Halal meat that gets the seasoning just right. 😙👌 Fluffy, fresh pita and crispy fries.

Everything you'll get here is gloriously authentic, freshly prepared and delicious!
