Mr Katsu Manukau — Restaurant in Ōtara-Papatoetoe

Ordered 3 Bubble Tea today and very watery and mainly just milk also the Medium size was not medium but small , Sushi size are small , there is a board sign outside saying All Sushi $1 this is misleading Sushis are $2 and up you need to buy a member club card to get $1 Sushi.

Went to Papakura Mr Katsu and it's $1.20 for any Sushis without a membership card, Sushi Sizes are much bigger and Bubble tea was much nicer and Larger size.

I still bought sushis from here and bubble tea though because the parking was very tight and couldn't be bothered going somewhere else as I just wanted to eat.

Just my honest opinion will never be...

Love what this place is doing for the community and offering affordable and good sushi. However I have a few concerns:

My friend and I had asked for new tongs as there were none left in the bucket, a staff member proceeded to grab old dirty tongs from the USED bucket and gave them to us without washing them. This was quite off putting as my tongs were COVERED in Tuna Mayo.

No signage on the eftpos machine stating that they have a surcharge for Paywave. Even though it is minor, you legally have to state or else it is in breach of the Fair Trading Act. I didn’t realise until I checked my bank statements 2-3...

The staff were wonderful, and the lady who served us today was incredibly helpful in assisting us with our sushi choices. She recommended the vegetarian sushi, which we were initially hesitant about, but we’re so glad we took her suggestion. It was absolutely delicious, with a fried vegetable pancake or something similar inside that added fantastic flavor. The service here is always excellent, and we highly recommend this place.
