Kreem Cafe — Restaurant in Ōtara-Papatoetoe

Went to kreem Manukau for mid morning brunch signed in using covid passport and scanned in, found a table and ordered banana blueberry crepe, kreem big breakfast large flat white and blended coffee frappe staff really friendly and food came out within 15 mins which is good, there were approximately 12 people. Have had a couple of recent bad experiences with Kreme Mt roskill and kings cafe takapuna. Highly recommend Went again to kreem Manukau and had eggs bene, banana blueberry crepe, large flat white and blended coffee frappe, food and service still good but noticed that 1 particular staff member slow at clearing tables, she would walk back once she had delivered food but walked past several times and not bother with clearing tables, at one point a customer had to ask her to remove messy dishes etc. 22/4/23 went for late lunch and ordered 3 meals, the server repeated back to confirm the order, 1 meal came quickly, other 2 didn't come at all, after 20 mins asked the server where the 2 meals were she said she would check, she came back and asked what we ordered, I said she should know as she took the order, another staff member came and said she hat one of the meals was given to a customer after we ordered it, as this was no longer available could we order something else, I said that this wasn't good enough as we had ordered that particular one, an alternative was agreed upon and brought out by another staff member and he apologized. The original server should have her arse kicked as she was the one who forgot part of our order. A customer before us got a raw deal too as she forgot his order. Not impressed with the lack of detail, it wasn't busy but this should not happen. The food was good but service from 1 particular staff...

Went to Kreem yesterday (04/09/25). Arrived around 10:20am-10:30am.

Customer service was lacking in customer service. The server at the till seemed distracted and looked flustered. Food came, received the wrong tea twice but settled on a different tea on the third try. Ordered the Kreem Big Breakfast: toast was under the scrambled eggs which became soggy because of this. Grilled chicken was grilled but marinated in a sauce, wasn’t made aware by the server and it wasn’t specified on the menu. Also ordered the open wrap but it was missing the garlic sauce and they gave a small punnet of tomato relish to compensate instead of the garlic sauce. Tables weren’t being cleared nor cleaned down fast enough so other customers were having to flag down the only two servers on the floor to clear and clean them down so they had somewhere to sit. Mind you, these two young men that were on the floor were also the only two running drinks and food orders.

Have been here a few times before and was always happy with the service and food because it was consistent. Hesitant to return after this...

Absolute TRASH!!! Ordered the big breakfast this morning and it was missing hash bites and the sausage - took it back to rectify and was told “Yes, we know.. it’s coming”!!!!! It wasn’t mentioned when it was delivered to the table and had we not taken it back they would’ve carried on as per normal! 2nd issue was we also ordered Ginger Lemon Tea x2 pots.. it was bright red and tasted like Berries!!! We queried this too and we’re shown the tea box that was used low and behold it was BERRIES plus 10 other ingredients including Ginger and Lemon!! What a big frikken scam that should’ve included all the flavours instead of selecting the 2 flavour profiles that didn’t even taste like it!!! What’s disappointing is that this place has been recommended by all our friends and family, multiple groups of foodies and we had the worst experience ever! The food was average but the service and how we were made to feel was absolutely insulting. It’s dinner time now and we went at breakfast, I’ve spent all day seething at such a known, supposedly quality establishment could be like this....
