It's been awhile since I have felt compelled to leave a review. Autumn Baker and Cafe was a wonderful find in Epsom, Auckland. We went to breakfast here 5 days in a row when visiting Auckland. Every time we were greeted warmly with smiles and made to feel welcome. The food was so tasty and we shared the Salmon Eggs Benedict the days we weren't trying something else. The owners are obsessed with quality French pastries although they also serve a humble toastie. I rate the pina colada pastry - a grilled pineapple slice over a coconut cream filling. Love the vibe - locals, foodies, people looking for a bit of peace. The guy is currently trying to perfect cannelés and makes a small batch on Mondays. Barista is amazing and they have good quality alternative milks.
