When we went, it was really busy with quite a few people queued outside and inside. The atmosphere was quite delightful and very cute. It was clean, slick, and inviting, with some nice seating inside and Halloween decorations. The staff were also very kind and attentive, and noticed us as soon as we walked in amidst others who were just waiting for their order.
However, the ice cream we experienced wasn't as great. We had two single scoops of the Jasmine Lychee and the Cocoa flavours, coming to a total of $17. The scoops they gave were very small, especially compared to other ice cream stores. The flavours they offered were very unique though. But if you are a sweet tooth, I wouldn't recommend the ice creams here, as they are on the less sweet side. Though the Jasmine Lychee was quite sweet, the new box of ice cream they sold was not solidified enough - it was too runny/melted. When they gave me the cone, the staff member had already wrapped it with an extra tissue, and the tissue was already covered with the melting ice cream (the photo shows how runny the lychee ice cream was compared to a cocoa ice cream cone just given to us, so about 30-45 seconds apart - all the stains on the tissue occurred prior to the ice cream having been given to us). Had the ice cream been more solidified, it would have been a much better experience. The cocoa ice cream was very grainy and its texture wasn't too pleasant compared to other smoother ice creams from other places. The taste was also very bitter, akin to a very dark chocolate with little to no sugar. For $17, the size of the scoops were also quite disappointing. The scoops should have be a bit larger for the prices they were charging.
Nevertheless, the store does have some unique flavour offerings. If you're looking for some East Asian inspired flavours, you'll be delighted at the range of flavours they offer. But if you are craving sweet desserts, do tame your...
Read moreI've visited this ice cream shop multiple times and always discover something new! They offer unique flavors like osmanthus, black truffle, beer, lychee jasmine, and even New Zealand king salmon. Today, I chose Taro & Thai tea ice cream with a waffle combo, while my baby had his favorite strawberry flavor. The prices are affordable and definitely worth it! They also have a stamp card for gifts and special discounts for teachers and students.
The owner is a coffee enthusiast, selecting the best beans and machines. I tried the recommended osmanthus coffee today, and it was amazing. Next time, I'll go for the brown sugar flavor.
The shop's decor is super Instagrammable, with a fresh, plant-filled vibe designed by the owner. It's perfect for dates, friends, and moms with kids (like me—I love ice cream!). They also offer takeaway ice cream, so no more running to big supermarkets. I'll be stopping by every time to grab my...
Read moreVery very unique flavours. Tried the salmon icecream, and the rose one, and both were very interesting. It's not your tradional icecream or gelato flavours, it's completely different to anything I tried before, and my brain and tastebuds were so confused at first (you know after all I'm not used to a creamy frozen salmon flavour and texture in mouth). The salmon icecream had a bit of wasabi topping on it, and it all resembled a salmon dip of sorts. It wasn't sweet nor salty either, and tasted very natural. I wouldn't compare this place with other icecream places to be honest as it's something very unique and different, and is very much an acquired taste. I would 100% though say you would need to try it and see how you feel about it. The rose icecream was very very nice with rose petals in the icecream as well. The staff there are so...
