Saint Leonards Brewing — Restaurant in Albert-Eden

Went to Saint Leonards to try some local beer, left feeling swindled. We ordered a couple of beers to try and enjoy them, the atmosphere was okay with a fireplace and heaters. However, when it came to ordering food the system flawed us. We ordered two meals and the schnitzel was evidently sold out at the time. So my husband was offered a hot dog. Due to the price difference the bar tender suggested he would give my husband another beer. Sounds good, no worries. Only, he never did. Even after asking him about it, his artitude was to generally ignore my husband and hope the whole situation would just go away....So whilst we support independent breweries and love to spend time exploring these sorts of places, this left us bitter knowing we'd been ripped off. Hopefully next visit (if ever), we can re review. 2 stars...

An enjoyable garden bar and range of beers on tap let down by overpricing and a lack of hospitality. Visited with some friends on a wet Friday night. It was quiet and it seems the bar staff were keen to close early. While sitting enjoying our conversation a staff member came over and informed us the bar was now closed and we had 10 minutes to leave. I asked if we could get one more round and was told the bar was already closed and that they had called last drinks earlier - which they had not, given we were one of only 2 tables still there. I found the experience rude and arrogant and was made to feel like my presence was an annoyance rather than being treated like a guest. Holy Wow!!! Love it...!!!

Rolled in here not knowing what to expect, went straight up to the bar and was welcomed with open arms thanks to the awesome staff. They are absolutely awesome!!! Place has a cool atmosphere with a very laid back vibe. Nice outdoor setting and you dont have to yell over the music to have a conversation. Food truck on site, with a good menu.

This is a place I would point anyone towards if you wanna large range of craft beers, wether your a local or visitor its worth a peep... Very, very highly recommended!
